There are 178,118 military veterans living within a 30-mile radius of Fayetteville, Georgia. Many veterans return from service with emotional and physical conditions such as Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), amputations, and a host of other invisible wounds. An estimated 13% of veterans (or 23,000 in this radius) live with PTS, and 11% (20,000) have a TBI. Many veterans have both PTS and a TBI. Our programs and services address these issues.
Less than 4% of the warriors in this area currently receive these services.
We provide a holistic, multi-disciplinary support network that facilitates reintegration that is tailored to each veteran and his or her family. This increases their mental health, their awareness of themselves and their value, their coping skills and strategies, and their support system.
